1 Timothy 6: 8-10
People who want to get rich are tempted. They fall into a trap. They are tripped up by wanting many foolish and harmful things. Those who live like that are dragged down by what they do. They are destroyed and die. Love for money causes all kinds of evil. Some people want to get rich. They have wandered away from the faith. They have wounded themselves with many sorrows.
Proverbs 13:11
Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.
Application:
Money is a good gift from God. You may know that finances is one of the most talked about subjects in the Bible. This means God highly values how we treat His money! God also very clearly states that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. So how do we align our finances with His purpose? We do this through prayer, counseling and seeking financial guidance from others.
